Coach Moon has been coaching in Vermont for over 20 years as a high school and club coach.  Moon is currently the South Burlington High School Boys Varsity coach as he enters his 8th season with the Wolves.  While at SBHS, Coach Moon helped lead the program to their first State Championship in 20 years in 2011.  In 2014, he helped lead South Burlington again to a state title, posting the best record in school history at 16-1.  This past year, Coach Moon led the Wolves to the 3rd State Championship in his tenure at SBHS with a 3-1 win over St. Johnsbury in the 2017 final, finishing with a 16-1-1 record.

Prior to becoming the Varsity coach at South Burlington, Moon coached for several seasons at the JV level at both SBHS, and Burlington High School.  He also was a coach for many years with Far Post Soccer Club. 

As a coach, Moon has helped guide several collegiate players, and All-State Selections, including in 2014, an NSCAA All-American (Aiman Ginawi) and an NSCAA All-New England (Ismail Temirov) in the same year.  In 2016, he guided the Vermont Gatorade Player of the Year (Patrick O'Hara).

During the 2015 season, Moon was named the Metro Coach of the Year in Vermont.
