Coach Christina joins us nearby from the University of Vermont in her first year with Queen City FC. She adds a wealth of quality playing experience at high levels as she has played a large role with the Catamounts thus far. She has started in 20 games since her sophomore season on the defensive unit.
Prior to UVM, Christina grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota. She competed at the club level for the Minnesota Thunder where she would help the team win the ECNL U17 North American Championship and was selected to the ECNL Player Development Program. Prior to finishing her career with the Thunder at the club level, she also won a US Soccer U15 National Championship for club with the Dakota Rev. In addition, Christina also competed for four seasons with Minnesota ODP in Region II. Christina attended Eastview High School in Minnesota where she was a a three sport athlete. As a senior at Eastview, she was a team captain for soccer and earned first-team all-state, all-conference and all-section honors. In addition to soccer, she competed in high school at the Varsity level for basketball and track and field.
